Anna and Nikolay

Anna, a professional Artist and a tour guide is a freelance Art tutor. Originally from Russia (St Petersburg) Anna has been in the UK since 1994. She used to be an Art teacher and over the years has been working and hosting many children from different countries. Anna has a good understanding of cultural differences, and is well placed to offer support, guidance and care to students. Anna speaks both English and Russian at the native level. Anna lives with her husband Nikolay (a freelance translator and a therapist), they have a grownup son who has settled nearby. The family enjoys spending time together going out for walks, cycling or playing table tennis and students are very welcome to join family meals, weekend and evening activities. Additional educational trips or any other events such as theatre performances or exhibitions are often arranged for students. They live in a bright and tastefully furnished terraced house in a leafy residential area of Eltham (South East London, Greenwich area). The train station is 15 minutes’ walk away with frequent services to Charing Cross and London Bridge. There are two comfortable rooms offered to students with a single/double bed and a desk (one of the rooms also has an electric piano). The student will have access to a washing machine and the garden. The house is well placed in walking distance from the local shops and cafes and near the park.
